Functions of the Track Roller
The Liebherr LR1400 track roller performs three core functions within the crane’s undercarriage system:
Load Support: Supports the weight of the crane superstructure and transfers the load to the ground via the track shoes.
Track Guidance: Guides the track shoes along the correct path, ensuring smooth and stable travel performance.
Wear Reduction: Provides a rolling surface for the track chain, minimizing friction and wear between moving parts.
Each track frame is equipped with 16 LR1400 track rollers, with each roller assembly consisting of two roller halves.
