Liebherr LTR1220 Idler Production Process
Quality Standards
We hold ISO 9001 certification to ensure consistent product quality across all batches. Quality assurance measures include:
Dimensional inspection to verify specification accuracy
Hardness testing to confirm the effectiveness of heat treatment
Surface quality assessment to ensure a high-quality surface finish
How to Maintain Liebherr Crane Idlers
Routine Inspection and Cleaning
Regularly clear away debris: Promptly remove accumulated mud, gravel, and other debris from around the idler wheel and track to prevent foreign objects from entering the space between them, which would accelerate component wear.
Check alignment: Observe whether the idler wheel remains aligned with the track frame; misalignment can cause abnormal wear across the entire undercarriage assembly.
Lubrication and Seal Inspection
Check oil seal condition: Periodically inspect the idler wheel’s lubrication seals to prevent grease leakage caused by seal aging or damage. Leakage accelerates internal bearing wear and shortens component service life.
Check for abnormal heat: After operation, use your hand or a temperature gauge to check for localized overheating of the idler wheel. Abnormal heat usually indicates internal lubrication failure or imminent bearing damage, requiring immediate attention.
Track Tension Adjustment
Coordinate tension adjustment: The idler wheel’s tension must be adjusted in coordination with the track tensioning system (tensioning springs or cylinders). Excessively loose tracks accelerate idler wheel wear, while overly tight tracks increase bearing load. Please refer to the standard values
